Victoria Park Nursery School & Family Hub

We work with a consultant called Penny Tripp who provides short courses in positive behaviour management for parents.  Penny worked in West Berkshire schools for many years, and has some excellent hints and tips to help you manage those difficult times with your 2 and 3 year olds.

This short workshop will give you some hints about how to give your child a really good start in terms of developing the skills they need to be a reader.  Mrs Griffiths runs this course, alongside our school librarian, Shelagh Gale. 

Mrs Pinnell, our Senior Teacher, runs this workshop which is about 1 hour long, in the autumn term.  She will talk about the things that it’s really helpful to work on at home to give your child the right skills to be ready for school and is suitable for families with children in their final year at nursery school.
