Pupil Premium
Early Years Pupil Premium
Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) is a additional funding source for the Nursery School and is available for children whose parents are in receipt of certain benefits or match other criteria. Some of the funding is provided by the Department for Education, and some by West Berkshire Council. Click on this link to West Berkshire Council which provides further details. Funding is allocated on a term by term basis in early years.
At Victoria Park we employ one additional adult above ratio in each of our groups (Willow & Chestnut), which allows the teachers to plan for small groups to support the development of skills in the prime areas of learning. Other information on how we use EYPP to support children can be found in our PPG Strategy below.
If you think your child may be eligible for EYPP funding, we would be grateful if you would complete the EYPP form for parents in our registration pack (or available from the office) and return it to us as soon as possible.
If you would like any further information or help about EYPP, please ask one of the staff in the School Office.
