Thames Valley Early Years Stronger Practice Hub
Our Partnership
We are partners in one of the southeast's stronger practice hubs for early years. The partnership is led by Blagdon Nursery School in Reading and the other partners are Hungerford Nursery School, Maidenhead Nursery School and Dingley's Promise. Over the 2 years from January 2023, we will be working closely together to provide support to early years classes, settings and childminders in a project funded directly by the Department for Education.

The Role of the Hubs
Early years stronger practice hubs provide advice, share good practice, and offer evidence-based professional development for early years practitioners.
The hubs are part of the early years education recovery support package which also includes the early years experts and mentors programme.
Early years stronger practice hubs are distributed across England, with 2 hubs in each region (18 hubs in total). Thames Valley was one of the first 13 hubs - appointed in November 2022.
