The closing date for nursery registrations for the Summer Term (April 2024) is 2 February 2024. Please have your completed pack, including a copy of your' child's birth certificate, with us by then.
The Thames Valley Early Years Stronger Practice Hub is now fully working, providing support and training to teachers and educators in early years classes, settings, schools as well as our local childminders. Our Hub Manager is Gemma and admin is provided by Gen. You can contact them on HubAdmin@tveysph.org.
The Government recently announced in its Budget that funding will be provided for 2 year olds to attend nursery in the future. We have been provided with no further information, other than what was announced. West Berks Council has been able to confirm that 15 hours of funding will be provided to 2 year olds of working families from April 2024 and 30 hours funding for 2 year olds from September 2025. This will be administered through the Childcare Choices website and will link with your HMRC account. We are presuming at this stage that qualification will be similar to 30 hours funding for 3 year olds - based on family income and with certain visa exclusions.
